Diarrhea is caused by insufficient water absorption in the colon. Fiber (pumpkin) directly contributes to the formation of solid stools. Fiber slows digestion and waste passage, giving the body more time to absorb the water it needs to form solid stools.

Constipation, on the other hand, occurs when waste passes slowly through the colon, causing excess water to be reabsorbed from the body. This results in dry, hard-to-pass stools. Fiber (pumpkin) prevents the colon from reabsorbing some of the water, providing much-needed fluid for those hard-to-pass stools.

Feeding scale (recommended)
This is a once-a-day dosage.

Pet weight/dose

00-25 lbs 1-3 teaspoons.
25-50 pounds 1-2 tablespoons.
50-75 lbs 2-3 tablespoons.
75-100 lbs or more: 3-5 tablespoons.

Note: If severe intestinal problems occur, double the dose for the first dose and then feed according to the recommended dose.
