Main Ingredients

Oxomet®
Rich in S-adenosyl methionine (SAMe), a fermentation product of the yeast S. cerevisiae. SAMe is particularly important in liver cells and positively impacts metabolism throughout the organism. It participates in the synthesis of glutathione, a primary defense mechanism against oxidative stress. Glutathione effectively detoxifies harmful molecules, rendering them soluble and facilitating excretion. Glutathione also protects liver cells from deterioration and cell death (apoptosis).
When the liver is damaged, SAMe synthase activity decreases, leading to a decrease in SAMe production and limiting glutathione synthesis. This decrease in glutathione levels makes it insufficient to protect the SAMe synthase from oxidative damage, further reducing SAMe synthesis and creating a vicious cycle that can ultimately lead to liver failure and, in turn, affect overall metabolism. In vitro SAMe supplementation can support glutathione synthesis, ensuring the proper functioning of antioxidant defense mechanisms and maintaining liver health.

Siliphos®
Silymarin Phytosome is a patented formula consisting of silybin (Sylibum Marianum, milk thistle fruit) and phosphatidylcholine (lecithin). This phosphatidylcholine-bound silymarin complex has been shown to be more bioabsorbable than silymarin alone.
Silybin, the most abundant and potent component of silymarin, neutralizes free radicals, thereby protecting liver cells from oxidative damage. It also inhibits the adhesion of toxins and the production of leukotrienes, which are involved in inflammatory responses. Its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties can mitigate or even prevent unnecessary liver damage.
Phosphatidylcholine is the main precursor of choline and the main component of lipoproteins in the blood and cell membranes. It plays an important role in the production of bile, mitochondrial energy conversion and the elimination of cellular metabolic waste. Siliphos® further enhances the ability to protect the liver through the synergistic effect of silybin and phosphatidylcholine, providing strong support for liver health.

Vitamin E
It is mainly found in vegetable oils and fats, and may require additional supplementation for carnivorous animals. It is a potent antioxidant and fat-soluble vitamin that supports the function of liver cells in the lipid-soluble environment of the cell membrane.

Directions: Take Prolivet® orally once daily for at least 30 days.

It is recommended to fast overnight before administering the tablets, if possible, to ensure an empty stomach for optimal absorption of the active ingredient. If fasting overnight is not possible, wait at least 2 hours (preferably longer) after eating before administering the tablets. After administration, it is recommended to wait at least 1 hour before feeding the pet.
You can always gradually adjust the number of tablets given, based on your veterinarian's advice.
