A cool spring, coupled with dry, warm summer conditions, perfectly meet the specific climate requirements of Timothy's shallow root structure. Joy & Fibre® American Timothy is sun-dried immediately after harvest. Warm breezes allow the grass to dry thoroughly before baling and storage, preventing moisture and mold. A first cut produces more stems and a firmer stem than a second cut.
