Digestive health
Newborn cat milk contains carefully selected, ultra-digestible proteins with a lactose content very close to that of breast milk. It contains no starch (which kittens don't produce enough enzymes to digest), making it ideal for kittens' digestive systems. A kitten's intestinal flora develops gradually over several weeks. The addition of prebiotics (FOS) helps support digestive health.
