Animal Eyelid Hygiene Care

Eyelid inflammation (i.e., blepharitis), dry eyes, corneal ulcers, and conjunctivitis are common in veterinary practice, resulting in abnormal discharge or localized infection.

Most cases are recurrent and chronic. Therefore, a daily eyelid hygiene program forms the core of managing the condition. This includes thorough cleaning of the eyelids and eyelid crevices.

Directions:

Gently wipe the animal's eye area until clean. For a more soothing effect, place in the refrigerator half an hour before use. Repeat on the other eye using a new wipe to avoid cross contamination. No need to rinse after use.
