Recommended feeding amount
This recipe is suitable for adult dogs, non-breeding dogs over one year old that are still puppies, and pregnant or lactating female dogs with special nutritional needs.
It's important to slowly transition your puppy from their current diet to the Wellness Pet Healthy Diet, as it takes several days for their body to adjust to the new nutritional content. Switch brands and gradually mix in the new food over 5-7 days, increasing the amount of Wellness Pet Healthy Diet daily. After 7 days, you can feed your puppy 100% of the Wellness Pet Healthy Diet.
CORE Grain-Free recipes are highly palatable, so your dog may eat more. Observe first to see if regular eating patterns need to be adjusted. Always provide your dog with clean, cool water and use Wellness Pet Healthy CORE Grain-Free canned recipes whenever possible to increase the amount of water in the dog's diet. Nutrition is only part of the equation! Be sure to give your puppy plenty of love, plenty of exercise, and regular veterinary visits to help ensure overall health.
