Switching to the Wellness Pet Diet: It is important to slowly transition your puppy from his/her current diet to the Wellness Pet Diet, as it takes several days for his/her body to adjust to the new nutritional content.
To switch brands, gradually mix in the new food over a period of 5-7 days, increasing the amount of Wellness Pet Diet each day. After 7 days, you can feed 100% Wellness Pet Diet.

Determine feeding ratio: Refer to the chart below and divide the total number of cups fed per day by the total number of feedings per day to determine the portion size for each meal.

Every dog is slightly different, so the optimal feeding amount may vary depending on age, size, and activity level. The information below is only a preliminary suggestion; please adjust as necessary.

Dogs over 56.5 kg: Add 1/4 cup for every additional 4.5 kg

For pregnant or lactating dogs: Feed 25% more than the labeled rate.

Mixed Feeding: If feeding canned food, reduce the amount of dry food by 1/3 cup for every 6 ounces of canned food.
