Switching to the Wellness Pet Diet: It's important to slowly transition your puppy from their current diet to the Wellness Pet Diet, as it takes several days for their body to adjust to the new nutritional content. Switch brands and gradually mix in the new food over 5-7 days, increasing the amount of Wellness Pet Diet daily. After 7 days, you can switch to the Wellness Pet Diet entirely.
Determine your puppy's feeding ratio: Refer to the chart below and divide the total number of cups fed per day by the total number of feedings to determine the serving size. Always have a bowl of clean water readily available. Wellness Pet Health believes in mixing dry food with canned food to help increase your puppy's water intake at all times.
