The Ownat Grain-Free dry food range is a nutritional alternative that mimics a dog or cat living in complete freedom in nature, whose body is already prepared to follow the diet spontaneously. The digestive system of dogs and cats cannot digest uncooked grains, although they can digest cooked grains, which can also be a source of food allergies and intolerance symptoms, which is why we have completely removed grains from our grain-free formulas. The high proportion of ingredients of animal origin as well as fresh meats provide higher levels of biological value proteins, which provide essential amino acids, which are essential for the normal development and function of the body.
The high level of animal-derived ingredients allows us to create lower carbohydrate recipes. We use, for example, legumes and tubers as alternatives to cereals for carbohydrate sources.
OWNAT is a new brand of the Spanish manufacturer Cotecnica. The factory was founded in 1982 and has a 40-year history. The production base is located in an area with extremely rich agricultural resources and animal husbandry, close to farms and the coastline.
To ensure our furry friends receive high-quality protein, we use only 50% fresh meat, 30% dehydrated meat, and 20% slow-cooked fresh fruits and vegetables in our dry food.
